~ VARAS was established by two local individuals who live in rural areas and saw the need for change

~ 90% of our community work can be found in typical rural areas

~ Our volunteer placement is completely free - this enhances community engagement and development

~ 100% of donations go directly into community project implementation

~ Donor receives consistent breakdown of how donations are used

~ Your donation saves lives, empower women, bring hope and eradicate poverty

Your donation will be used to

~ Pay our student's tuition

~ Pay our children medical bills

~ Extend drinkable water to community schools

~ Revamp Kente industry

~ Train women at the apprenticeship programme

~ Provide assorted items to the needy

~ Construct libraries and women's training centre

Note: Donation is through the 12 calendar months ( January - December)

For the purposes of transparency and accountability

2. Donor will communicate via Skype with beneficiaries ( if interested)

3. Receipts of purchases will be provided
